Last Night In Lisbon

After our day in Belem, we headed back to Baixa and back out into the city for our final night of exploring.

We wandered, meandered and soaked up the sights and sounds of this wonderful city one last time.

I had spied the Gloria funicular earlier in the week, we decided to ride it. Just a short trip up a very steep hill it was fun.

Drinks in the Hard Rock Cafe afterwards as per Son’s request. Then it was time for our last night’s dinner in Lisbon at Pizzeria Lisboa. A lovely little place with a laid back ambiance, fantastic service, delicious food (I loved my oxtail gnocchi) and desserts to die for. The best way to end our last night in Lisbon.

    • Thank you Marion – we loved Lisbon and were very sad to leave. I hope we make it back someday! Some sunny weather here would be quite nice, not terrible today but not feeling very summery!! Hope your weekend going well too.

    • It was the perfect end to a really lovely trip Rosemary – food and the funicular!! Sunshine here and we’re off to Devon this week so looking forward to that. Hope all is good with you too.

      • Yes all well here thanks Joy – a wintry blast the last few days but spring is round the corner. Hope you have a lovely time in Devon and have nice, sunny weather πŸ˜ƒ
